I am evaluating the creation of a niche consumer brand and have identified numerous potential directions. I want to study 2 of the potential platform strategies: 1) Curated online retail (no white-label or self manufacturing) 2) Private label (100% white-label and self manufactured). I am not from retailing, but am a pretty quick study and have employed a number of analysts over the years.
