Corporate Strategy & Development - Strategy Development
A management consulting firm focused on procurement and strategic sourcing is looking for a contractor with procurement consulting/strategic sourcing experience to support its current client engagements with both public & private sector clients.
The contractor will be expected to assist with strategic sourcing activities, including contract review, spend data analysis (familiarity with MS Excel, Pivot Tables & Vlookups, is required), market research, RFP development, and proposal analysis.
Experience with sourcing one or more of the following spend categories is desirable: Office Supplies, MRO, Copiers, Pharmaceuticals, IT Hardware, Food, Housekeeping, Telecom, Waste Management, Janitorial Services/Supplies.
*Work from home for majority of engagement. Travel to client sites in Charlotte, NC; Columbia, SC; San Diego, CA; and/or other U.S. locations is expected for 2 - 8 days/mos (1 or 2 trips a month to a client site).
*Day rate of $600/day before SH fees
