Senior Program Manager with PBM and Health Plan experience

Healthcare focused management consulting firm in need of a Senior Program Manager with Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) and Health Plan (think Blue Cross Blue Shield). This is a full-time, year-long, engagement. Individual will lead 3 consultants and the overall client program to implement a new PBM. Complex, high-stakes, high-stress environment. Individual needs to be very politically skillful and have a strong leadership profile and presence. On-site required 3 four-day weeks per month. All expenses for travel are paid.

From the SOW:
Individual has overall responsibility to ensure the program is delivered as expected by client. To do so, they will have responsibility for the program to include people, finances, and deliverables. They will be responsible for program communication, status, and resolving issues. For those issues requiring leadership input, individual will be responsible for escalation. Working with leadership from all stakeholders, they will ensure a collaborative approach is taken, a defined governance model is used, and the process is transparent. Individual will be very involved in the detailed planning and management of plan.
