Project Management for consulting project

Need a consultant for project management support of an ongoing, three work stream engagement. The consultant will work directly with a managing director, and be responsible for managing a team of 3-4 analysts (project is already underway, but need a PM to lessen management burden on the project MD).

The three work streams involve: a) building an activity based cost model applied to a transportation network, b) building a multi-unit earnings model and c) building out framework materials for a C-level strategy development committee.

Key activities include: developing work plans, ensuring timeframes are aggressive but realistic, leading daily 15-minute check-ins, tracking progress on work streams, identifying and resolving blockages early and efficiently, ensuring capture of all tasks and issues raised by the team.

This is not a role for a large bureaucratic project team. It is a fast-moving engagement with challenges that arise as the project unfolds, which must be identified and addressed in a timely manner.
