FP&A Analyst for Emerging Consulting Firm

This role will report directly to the CFO of an emerging tech firm, and this person will serve as a critical advisor, thought partner, and execution partner as we elevate the finance function and support the transformation. As such, this person will need to be a self-starter who has strong judgement, can actively problem solve issues as they arise, and be an execution partner to the CFO and the finance team. They will need to be detail oriented and able to synthesize important information quickly to identify key insights and actions based on information. They’ll need to be prepared to work well in a fast-paced environment and know how to ramp up quickly.

Responsibilities
• Build financial models and ad-hoc analyses in support of strategic development work
• Be a strategic and execution thought partner to the CFO and leaders within the firms finance function
• Provide administrative assistance to CFO in preparation for key meetings
• Ensure key deadlines and objectives are being met
• Attend executive meetings and deliver progress reports to CFO

* Finance Function Improvement
* Provide financial modeling, technical training and development for key members of the finance function
* Assist the project management of the firms finance function
