Seeking modeling support for executive compensation/profit sharing calculations. I have a rough idea to get started but it needs professionalizing.
Requirements; must have dilution functionality to accommodate new partners in future years; sensitivity capability to put in revenue and profit estimates in a year, and show +/- x% achievement. Partners enter on tiered basis. i.e. enter at "Tier 2" begin sharing in profits >$2 M, but new partners may be added as Tier 3, with all partners Tier 3 getting diluted after $3 million in profit share
One example formula for perspective:
Profit Share = profit up to $1,000,000 @ x%, + profit up to $2,000,000 @ y%, + profit up to $3,000,000 @ z%, and so on. Each partner will has different %'s by tier based on dilution.
