ARCS market & business assessment

We are trying to evaluate whether we should partner with a company that has conceptualized a better technology product that is complimentary to our core purpose and product line. The proposed product is required by NYC building codes “ARCS” with added requirements for FDNY. Only 1 or 2 known competitors.

We need to understand the size of the potential market within the NYC metro area along with other major markets in the US. Additionally, we need to understand who the competition is and their strengths and weaknesses. In the end, we need information to decide if this product has the potential to be profitable and develop a unique enough niche that is transferable to other markets Under a code enforced program titled “Auxiliary Radio Communication Systems” (ARCS) Post 9/11 to better aid FDNY and First Responders in high rises, New York City Fire Department and national organizations such as the National Fire Prevention Association (NFPA) are mandating communications standards.
