Conducted research the lab of Dr. Daniel Geschwind, a pioneer of gene expression network analysis in characterizing neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disease. Studied novel causes and mechanisms of neurodegenerative disease, contributing molecular biology and genetics expertise, and developing computational biology skills including programming. Work was multidisciplinary including dry (genome level expression data and network analysis), and wet (tissue culture, virus preparation, tissue staining, microscopy) lab techniques.
