While I was there, I managed the private equity and venture capital portfolio, advised on corporate strategy and served on several other special projects across their functional verticals. The role was later expanded to include capital allocation and liquidity strategy across the entire organization.
Successes include: managing the restructuring and transformation process (including board restructuring) for a large privately-held company, implementing a corporate capital budgeting system that enabled accountable decision-making for a several hundred million dollar annual capex budget, and developing and implementing a private capital strategy to build wealth, source new deals and reduce costs for the private capital portfolio.
