● 2021 I worked with the Director of Addiction Medicine to build on a Kaizen event that focused on the ability to significantly expand the staff's ability to effectively address the overwhelming opioid crisis as well as other forms of addiction. Six interrelated agile projects were identified and qualified through significant data mining and data analysis. They involved: Business process re-engineering, Technology acquisition, and implementation, Organizational re-alignment, and Minor additional staffing.
The results were an estimated $23,000,000 in annual savings in the Pacific Northwest region alone in addition to the saving, on average, of 3-5 lives annually per region.

As CEO, I started with a group of volunteer coders and transformed the company by instituting product management, customer success, sales, advisory board, quality, and marketing roles increasing headcount from 5 to 25. I brought in the first enterprise customer and upon my departure, the company had significant monthly recurring revenue with over 500,000 users and subscribers.

The Activity Based Cost financial analysis resulted in the discovery of the actual use of the General Fund and the issues in cost recovery for the division. The process review discovered serious risks for the state in oil arbitrage. Recommendations were made in the following areas: operational and financial models and processes, personnel, process improvement, technology improvements, leading practices, leadership changes, culture, and governance. My financial analysis identified $47,000,000 of recoverable taxpayer funds.

F3-Apps was a purpose-built mobile application development firm that envisioned mobile apps a bit differently. I was asked by the CEO of a financial services firm to create a series of mobile apps that could make learning about and interacting with financial services a fun proposition.
● F3-Apps was my creation using a team of on-shore and off-shore talent and gamification concepts to fulfill the CEO's request, using the sponsor's capital. Using Agile Scrum and Kanban in a Unity environment I was able to deliver the first set of apps in record time and below budget. I was able to market-test the apps after focus group testing throughout development and received significant public adoption. The sponsoring company however changed its strategic marketing direction before full deployment and the company was dissolved without loss. Used Hubspot and Docusign separately.
